At UK Autistic, we are pro actively building autism communities in order that we have a voice that is heard by everybody from employers to policy makers. It is not something that is going to happen overnight but with the will and strength of many dedicated people, attitudes will alter and opportunities increase for autistic people right across the spectrum.

We receive no government funding or indeed funding or support of any kind apart from that of people who choose to support us by buying one of our products, playing our raffle, joining as a member or making a donation. Our services are free and always will be. Of that we are determined. Of course to make this possible we do need the support of our members, the public and importantly autistic people themselves.

UK Autistic utilises the unique skill sets of autistic people, providing a safe environment to develop social and life skills alongside neuro typical people. We endeavour to keep an equal balance of neuro typical and neuro diverse (autistic and non autistic) team members, voluntary and paid, working together to make positive changes, learning from one another in order to make society more autistic friendly.

One of the best ways that you can support UK Autistic is to become a full member from just 62p per week. Free members enjoy the benefit of :

· Regular newsletters and updates on the progress of our campaigns and initiatives

· Priority access to new services as and when they become available

· Invitation to the end of year gala and award ceremony featuring Fundraiser of the Year and Autistic Friendly Business of the Year awards

· Entry into the Monthly Members’ Draw where one member will collect £3,000 and a further 19 smaller prizes go to other members.

All for just £1 per week (£4.34 per month paid via Direct Debit) OR £32 for the year paid in advance.

It takes just a couple of minutes to join and you will be helping to change the lives and futures of autistic people in the UK.

All of the money raised is kept here in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Wherever possible we buy British products and use British services (in some cases it’s just not possible but we really do try).

Please join as a full member, use the forums to get your opinions out in the public domain, seek and offer advice, support and friendship. Build and empower autism communities with UK Autistic. We are the people.

Thanks for your continued support.
